Tournament Format                          Individual Entries  - Teams will be made up by

organisers.  A, B, C, division.  Cdivision will be children / novice players. The organisers will endeavour to balance the teams out as close as possible to ensure a fun filled weekend.

We will encourage each game to be played in turn about fashion (in other words, each player will play in a different position with each chukka). How ever this is not compulsory. This decision will be left up to the Captain.

Catering and Bar Facilities             - Will be available at the field. As per last year.

Umpires Ponies                                - Unfortunately limited ponies are available and

players are requested to umpire on their own horses – sufficient rest periods will be provided between chukkas and games

Paddocks:                                          - large post and rail stalls will be available at field.

 Please bring additional rope.

Stabling available @ + 15km drive George Riding club. Please contact Gareth direct on 0824588708.

Entry Fees                                     - R 270 per player includes T shirt/Sat supper 
                                                         and stall. If you would like to play two horses
                                                         add an extra R60.00 per additional horse.

Closing Date                                             - Friday 24th of February 2012 - 10 am.
                                                         No late entries can be accepted as shirts 
                                                         need to be ordered and made.

Social and Entertainment

a.         Friday Night:                                 Welcome Gathering at Field – 7pm
                                                            catering available.

b.         Saturday:                                       Braai at Beer Tent on field, included in 
                                                            entry

        please confirm extra people at a
        cost of R50pp

c.         Sunday:                                          Prize giving 30 minutes after final match.

Accommodation.                              –  There are several B & B,s and camping sites 
                                                               near to the field. Wilderness National Park
                                                               (Ebb & Flow) 044 877-1197 or Island Lake
                                                               Holiday Resort 044 877-1194, (right next to
                                                               field). There are cold shower facilities at the
                                                               field. Camping R100 per camp at Tenikwas
                                                               for the weekend. Please pay with entry and

                                                                        state on entry form.  

Liability Clause.                                    The Tenikwa Polocrosse Club  will not be held

responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may be caused, by whatever means during this tournament to horse, rider, vehicle or spectator.

The coaches for the weekend is going to be Bruce Maclarty and Peter Choice.
Bruce is going to help with gameplay and Peter will help with some horseriding skills.

The costs for the weekend are R150 per player that will include supper Saturday night and the possibility of watching the Polocrosse World Cup DVD’s.

Camping for the weekend is free and please bring ropes to secure camps for the horses.

Cashbar and catering will be available the whole weekend.
