1)      ENTRIES are invited for the above Tournament on the attached entry form. If your club is not entering a team, please write the name of the club on the entry form and write NO ENTRY across the form and return it to me as soon as possible

2)      ENTRY FEES will be R1800.00 per team. This will be returned in respect of teams not accepted. Teams withdrawing after the draw has been done will pay twice the amount of the entry fees. .  Any team entering after the cut off date will pay an extra R100 per player – payable before the first game

3)      CLOSING DATE: Properly completed entry forms and entry fees must reach me by NOON ON WEDNESDAY  28 JULY 2010. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE ENTRY FEE. If you deposit the entry fees into PASA account, please fax a copy of the deposit slip to me with your entry forms. PASA account number is NEDBANK – ESCOURT – ACCOUNT NUMBER 2349 177815, Savings Account. If there is not a copy of the deposit slip with your entry form, I will presume that the entry fee has NOT been paid and your entry will not be accepted. 4)       UMPIRING /UMPIRE PONIES        : Senior umpires must be prepared to umpire up to two games a day. NO UMPIRE PONIES WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE TOURNAMENT ORGANISERS. Umpire ponies must be provided by each team. Each team is expected to bring an umpire pony and reserve pony. Should a team fail to do so, the captain of the offending team shall hand over his/her pony to the umpire until such time as another horse is supplied as the teams umpire pony.

5)      SCORER/TIMEKEEPER AND GOAL JUDGES: Each team is to provide a scorer/timekeeper and 2 goal judges for each game they play.

6)      STABLING: There are outside pens.

7)      VET/FARRIER SERVICES: Should the services of the tournament Vet or Farrier be used by any player, these services are to be paid for at the time.

8)      TROPHIES: Will last years winners please check that the trophies have been engraved and cleaned and returned them to me on Friday the 30^th July 2010. The following is a list of last years winners:

9)      FIRST GAMES: The first games of the day will start at 08:30am sharp each morning. (TBC)

10)  TEAM CAPTAINS/MANAGERS AND UMPIRES MEETINGS: Captains and umpires meeting on Saturday  morning. Please attend..

11)  UMPIRES: Please note that should an umpire not arrive on time to do his/her duty their team will be penalised by 4 goals in their next game. Team captains are to check on their team playing and umpiring times. I can assure you we will be enforcing this rule.

12)  ACCOMODATION: Please contact pasa@futurenet.co.za should you require info on this..

13)  HANDICAP AND UMPIRE MEETING: These will be announced by the Chief Handicapper and Chief Umpire at the tournament.

14)ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: This will be held on Saturday afternoon the 7th of  AUGUST 2010, straight after the last game of the day. Please try and get as many of your club members to attend.

14)  ALL INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS must have a release letter from the President/Secretary of their country as well as a letter from the President of the borrowing club.

15)  NO UNAFFILIATED PLAYER will be allowed to play.

16)  NO ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED TO CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS.  NO UNDERAGE DRIVING WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.

Venue:  Inanda Country Base, Rose rd, Kyalami

Tournament rules: Chukka champs. Open to individuals only. Entries may be restricted on a first come first served basis. Refunds will be made if the tournament is cancelled or over-subscribed.

Camps:  There are no camps, please bring your own.

Umpire Ponies:  These will be supplied by Inanda Polocrosse Club.

Assistance: Medics at field.

            Farrier and Vet will be on call.

Catering:  Food and drinks will be available all day.

Prizegiving: 16h30

Evening braai: Will be served at 18h00 and will be for sale to non Players for R50.

Entry Fee:  R220 per player will include play, T-shirt and evening braai meal.

Payment: We need to organise T-shirts timeously and therefore request that the entry fees are paid in advance into our bank account to secure your entry.
